Helsinki International Ballet Competition
The Helsinki International Ballet Competition (HIBC) is one of the leading classical ballet competitions in Northern Europe, hosted by the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Founded in 1984, the 10th edition (28 May – 5 June 2026) brings together young talented dancers from around the world to compete in classical and contemporary categories. The competition is organised by the Helsinki International Ballet Competition Association.
