Valentina Kozlova is a former Principal dancer, Bolshoi Ballet and New York City Ballet, who started VKIBC (Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition) in 2011. The event was born from a desire to give young dancers a chance to earn company contracts, traineeships, scholarships and guest performances in a relaxed and friendly environment. Dancers aged 9 to 26 get scored, in their respective categories, by a panel of eminent judges from the US and around the world. Every year since 2011 dancers from all over the world will gather in New York to meet other dancers, professionals and, more importantly, have fun dancing! For more information, visit www.vkibc.org
