Professional Training Program (PTP)

A transformative, intensive professional training program for dedicated dancers aged 12–20 aspiring to professional careers. Students receive 5–6 hours of weekday training and Saturday sessions from approximately 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Daily classes include Technique (ballet and contemporary), Pointe/Variations and Partnering, Jazz and Contemporary, Stretch/Conditioning/Pilates, and Repertoire and Choreography. PTP dancers perform with the Cary Ballet Company (resident pre-professional company). Optional semi-private coaching available for Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and American Dance Competition (ADC) preparation.

Requirements

Dancers aged 12–20 aspiring to professional careers in ballet. All PTP dancers are required to perform with the non-profit Cary Ballet Company as part of their training.
