Upper School Entry

Video submission required. Centre work (10 minutes maximum): adage with grand rond jambe, penché in 1st arabesque (girls only), promenade in arabesque; pirouettes en dehors and en dedans from 5th and 4th; 3 allegro enchainements including assemblés, jeté, temps levé; batterie combination; grand allegro with grand jeté en tournant, grand jeté en avant, grand sissone fermé en avant on both sides. Pointe work (women only): relevé in 1st, 2nd, 5th position, échappé relevé in 2nd and 4th in centre; relevé in 5th, relevé devant and derrière, courus in centre. Tour en l'air (men only): double right and left. Stretching: hamstrings, splits on both legs, box splits, frog position, back arch. Contemporary: approx. 1 minute to music of choice. Uniform: Women – sleeveless leotard, ballet tights, ballet shoes; Men – tights, t-shirt or leotard, ballet shoes. Film from home with smartphone or camera; whole body in frame; safe environment required.
