The company was founded in 2012 by Stéphen Delattre, former principal dancer with several European ballet companies. Since its creation, Delattre Dance Company has become one of Germany's leading independent contemporary ballet companies, performing internationally and developing original full-length productions. In 2022, it celebrated its 10th anniversary.
