South African International Ballet Competition

The South African International Ballet Competition is the foremost classical ballet competition on the African continent, attracting dancers from South Africa and globally. Founded by Dirk Badenhorst in 2008, it features three age groups (Scholar 9–12, Junior 13–16, Senior 17–22) competing in both Classical Ballet and Contemporary categories, including solos, duets, trios, and groups.
